on common ground is a social enterprise that seeks to play a part in the eradication of extreme poverty through the promotion of fair trade and skill acquisition. it is concerned with promoting economic and social justice by working with peoples from disadvantaged situations and facilitating their participation in fair trade.
it symbolises the common resources that produce all that is consumed around the world.
it also stands for our recognition of the common dignity of all peoples and hence the right to fair wages for services and product, no matter where we live and work.
finally, it envisages a brighter future for all because of the common ground we try to establish through supporting community projects that help lift disadvantaged communities out of poverty and isolation from the mainstream economy.
